PHYSICAL SCIENCE STUDY SESSION AND LAB, Age 13-18 The fourth segment of a yearlong course divided into four sessions, with more than 25 experiments over the year. This class includes a study session and Physical Science lab each week. There is a 60-minute break between study session and lab (Tuesday only). The study session will generally follow the Pearson Conceptual Physical Science textbook 2012. $75 lab fee (one-time fee) due first class. Enrollment: Max 12

CHEMISTRY STUDY SESSION AND LAB, Age 13-18 Appropriate for 8th-11th graders. The fourth segment of a year long course divided into four sessions, with more than 30 experiments during the year. This class includes a study session and Chemistry lab each week. There is a 15 minute break between study session and lab. OUR BILOGICAL WORLD, Age 11-18 Biology is the study of life. In this course, we will learn about the miracle that is life, and how we are connected to other life forms on this planet. There are many specialized areas in biology, but we will focus on characteristics we share with all life. Classes include lectures, videos, demonstrations and hands-on activities. Tentative topics: The Biological World, Macromolecules: DNA, Proteins and Lipids, Cells, Microscope Lab, Genetics, The Molecular Biology Revolution, Symbiosis, and the Diversity of Life. Enrollment: Max 15
